Heres a dumb question for someone who knows how to make them... how do you make the folder icons for your ProBoards Forum? I can do the text images, but I have no idea of how to do the folders and stuff. Can someone explain how to do them for give a tutorial for them?

I would write a tutorial but i don't know what software you're using.

Anyways.. It's simply about zooming in and using the 1 pixel brush too make a simple squared shape and colouring to suit the theme of your forum.

When learning i would always use the standard proboards icons, open them up in my graphics program, zoom in and re-colour them.

Of course now i've got better at designing, you learn to create them yourself.

What software are you using and i'll try and help.

I use almost anything that people suggest. Right now, I use PhotoShop CS3 and GIMP. I hope that helps enough to do this. :)

I would design a tutorial, but their is so many out their. Here is a list of easy simple tutorials you can follow using Photoshop. Hope these help:
